Your Role
Caregiver Responsibilities & Job Duties

As an AMP Home Care caregiver, you’ll play an essential role in supporting clients’ daily needs, safety, and overall well-being. Duties may include:

Personal Care & Hygiene

  • Assistance with bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing
  • Support with daily hygiene routines
  • Mobility assistance and safe transfers

Transportation Assistance

  • Accompanying clients to appointments, errands, social outings, or community activities

Home Support

  • Light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, tidying, organizing)
  • Meal preparation and cooking based on client preferences and dietary needs
  • Running errands or grocery shopping

Companionship & Emotional Support

  • Providing conversation, engagement, and companionship
  • Participating in activities, hobbies, walks, or outings

Live-In/Extended Care (if applicable)

  • Overnight support
  • Assistance with daily routines
  • Maintaining a consistent presence for safety and comfort

Health & Safety Support

  • Medication reminders
  • Monitoring and reporting changes in client health or behavior
  • Ensuring a clean, safe home environment
